I've tried meditating and I can't get through the first minute. I can't figure out how to control my brain that just keeps thinking of things I need to do; things I got done: and things I ought to do but do want to do. I've definitely failed in the meditation realm.

I have meditated for around 30 years. The longest I have meditated in one session is about two hours.

I do yoga so I can be very patient when I'm relaxed and I once meditated for 3 hours but I was so "into it" that it felt like 30 minutes!

The most I done was 2 hours it takes time and practice. My advice start at five mintues and work your way up. I focus my eyes on my nose because if you close your eyes you'll end up falling asleep. that's how buddist do it. I don't meditate for 2 hours now but for 15 mintues here and there.

Yoginate, five minutes a day would be good these days, you couldn't have your chance to get into the state of moksha without SVGA card these days.
