are all stores closed on new years?

i mean like at a mall

You would have to call them. I am sure they would be though, everyone is entitled to a day off. Especially if it is to recuperate. The convienience stores will be open though.

here in philippines mostly the mall are open on new years..to welcome the new year 2007 and to welcome the blessings.. (old saying)
