I am a skeptic. I know a couple of people, however, who really like Sylvia Browne, and get comfort and inspiration from her.
There's no way for people such as you or me to really assess or evaluate her abilities. If she really has psychic abilities, then they probably don't lend themselves to being "proven," and will eventually fail to convince a tester or evaluator.
On the other hand, if she's faking it, she will always be able to come up with some way to beat the tester.
And she's under no obligation to undergo testing, anyway. So she can always refuse a test that seems to difficult.
The real question is, does she positively change lives. Does she provide people with information they need, or guidance they could not have gotten from others (like from a non-psychic support group, counselor, or clergyman.)
If not, then it doesn't matter whether she is psychic or not.

Ive seen her on the montel Williams show a few times and she makes more mistakes then hits which is messing with peoples lives these people have lost a loved one and she makes stuff up that ends up hurting them and i don't see how it helps them to get over there lose its sick that she can make money of it in this way,she told a friends aunt that her daughter had been shot when she collapsed at home, Ive seen her get a few things right but there few and far between she is playing with peoples emotions

I watched her on Montel Williams show before. Hard to believe what she says. Is it staged? If she could answer questions that I know the answer to, then I guess I would believe her.

I think she's interesting.
I like to watch her on Montel.
