Is there anything that interests you at all about chemistry? Sounds silly, but if there were, you'd have a topic already, no?
Think of something non-chemistry that you like and link it to chemistry. Like food: try something in food chemistry like why liquids thicken when you evaporate them, the chemical processes that make ice cream ice cream, why soda gets flat, etc. If you like cars look at the differences between gas and hydrogen powered cars. If you like fashion research fabric dyes, synthetic fabric, etc. It all ties in and you have 48 hours :)
