Good question. Part of MI are 2 feet below average in snowfall. The MAIN reason is the El Nino. However, Global Warming may have a slight input also. Also, the FAST moving jet has traveled so far north than usual, even when the cold air gets here, the jet would have zoomed the system by already.
Don't worry, today, isolated thunderstorm are in the forecast for southern portions of the state.

Be patient! Not EVERY winter is like this. Granted, it's supposed to rain today, but that could change in a heartbeat.
Personally, I like the winter that we've had so far. No snow is fine with me!!!
