America thinks it's SOOOOO gooooodddd and SOOOOOOO powerful that it should be the world's police & peacemaker..

and they told the world they r helping.

case: Middle East countries

here's some lyrics from a song

"Look into my eyes
Tell me what ya see
U don't see a damn thing
Cuz u can't relate to me

U blinded by our differences
My life makes no sense to u
I'm the persecuted one
U the red, white and blue

Each day u wake in tranquility
No fears to cross your eyes
Each day I wake in gratitude
Thankin' God He let me rise

Ya worry 'bout your education
And the bills u have to pay
I worry 'bout my vulnerable life
And if I'll survive another day

Ya biggest fear is getting a ticket
As ya cruise your Cadillac
My fear is that the tank that's just left
Will turn around and come back

Yet do u know the truth of where ya money goes
Do u let the media deceive your mind
Is this a truth that nobody knows
Has our world gone all blind
Yet do u know the truth of where ya money goes
Do u let the media deceive your mind
Is this a truth that nobody knows
Some one tell me

Oh let's not cry tonight
I promise you one day it's through
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters

Oh shine a light for every soul
That ain't with us no more
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters

See I've known terror for quite some times
57 years so cruel
Terror breathes the air I breathe
It's the check point on my way to school

Terror is the robbery of my land
And the torture of my mother
The imprisonment of my innocent father
The bullet in my baby brother

The bulldozers and the tanks
The gasses and the guns
The bombs that fall outside my door
All due to your funds

You blame me for defending myself
Against the ways of my enemies
I'm terrorized in my own land
And I'm the terrorist"

Because we Americans have a real big flaw...we like to share. We like to share all the things we made with those of you who can't, won't or are just to damn lazy to get for yourselves. We have wealth, so we share. The American taxpayer gives the world more foreign aid than any other 10 countries on earth combined. Tsunami in Indonesia? The American taxpayer gives millions, and millions more in private donations. Ethiopian government starving their own people? Americans buy a stupid song on records that raises millions to feed people that their government doesn't want fed. I could name a dozen more examples. We give money and aid and technology and even our own blood to anybody who sticks a hand out. Are we Americans the world's babysitter? No, we are Santa Claus. Except Santa Claus gets cookies and milk on Xmas eve.

Our country is in everyone's bussieness, why? Well some it is for security easons and money reasons. Alot of it is political and we stick our hands into the cookie jar. we intimadate because of this so called Super Power Authority! Mmm. Countries are slowly finding out that America needs them. True we do have food supplys and feed alot of other countries! You see the one thing that sticks in my crawl is why we have to force Democrocy on countries that have done just fine with out this word. We are corrupt as any other country! Are we free? We are free to work were we want! Free to live in any state. I wonder just how free we really are? We are not the worlds baby sitter but the worlds pacifier!

You are seeing this on a very simplistic level. America is not a babysitter this would suggest you are doing it for selfless, philanthropic reasons (though even a babysitter gets paid and we know they cannot all be trusted). America is doing this for power and money, to maintain its grip on World Domination. Why are you in the middle east? Islamic terrorism you say? There are lots in Asia and Africa too do you know that? The south americans hate you too what about all the commies like Chavez you should be killing? How many Saddams are there in the World? What about Darfur? Don't they need some baby sitting? I'm sure you would find them more grateful than the Iraqis.

You're in the middle east for oil because oil controls the World and that's what you want to do and that's why you have provided Israel with the 3rd largest military in the World.

Perhaps you can also understand why you're not liked now.

Those that have the power, also have the problems. The United States has been policing the world for so long, its become a bad habit. I believe it began in earnest after WWII. Even those that don't like us need us. Don't misunderstand me, I don't agree with all of this, I do understand its more complicated than just allowing other countries to solve their own problems. We live in a global community, the United States is a central player.

As others have said, $$$$$. Things like oil, and arms manufacturing (hey, we gotta sell these bombs, folks!).

And then there's power-drunk people like Bush and Cheney; people who think they can cut up the Constitution to suit their personal agendas.

Gee, did Bush finally admit that there was a CIVIL WAR in Iraq? These people will continue killing each other off whether we're there or not.

Trying to help promote peace is one thing, but not the way Bush is going about it.

I've been to America many times and love what I've seen of the country and the people are always warm and friendly, but please don't let a dumb a ss run the only super power left. It wrecks the planet.

Whattaya mean nobody likes us? Do you travel? Every country I have been to mimics the US. WE CARE! We are very very cool! I have worked with South Koreans, who love us, Kosovans and Bosnians, who love us, Iraqis, who love us, Phillipinos, who love us, ....my fingers are getting tired, but I could list most of the entire Earth who loves us. It is only the thugs and crazy buggers who don't love us.

Because of our wealth we are often asked to help. It is a shame that a great country like the U.S. never gets the credit it is due. We will however continue to help others out when they need us. As we should . This great country of ours , because of its willingness to give, make us that much better in the long haul.
