If there were going to be a movie, it would be called Saddam.
To george, "they never made a movie about Hitler". Actually a few movies (some for TV) were made such as Downfall, Uncle Adolf and Hitler: The Rise of Evil.
It is possible to make a movie about evil tyrants. As we speak, a movie about Idi Amin is coming out this week or the next. It's called The Last King of Scotland.
However, in my opinion, I think it's far too early to be making a movie about Saddam. Feelings are still a bit raw whatwith the ongoing terrorism and the Iraq war. Maybe in 10 years time, they might consider making a movie.

Maybe, but would you watch it? I don't think the box office will make a decent turn over on Saddam's story. Not to many people liked him. He was not hero, and he brought nothing but war and hatred to many countries. They never made a movie on Hitler, but they made a movie about the war and the devastation he caused to the world. Now if Hollywood could do that. Make a movie about the devastation that was caused while Saddam was in power then maybe they might turn a small profit.

Lets hope not..Rightly or wrongly the man sent a lot of people to death But is that really a good basis to tell a story?..Let him be buried and forgotton about and only be brought up in history lessons..Rather than factuated stories.
