I like this explanation:
Diversity is the term used to describe the relative uniqueness of each individual in the population. This condition is considered favorable as the greater the variety of genes available to the genetic algorithm the greater the likelihood of the system identifying alternate solutions.

When I see the word for the first time I think of the whole world in general. We are all in a huge diversity. The world and the many experiences that are abound. If we open our hearts to diversity we are less complex and more allowing of the many things that we can allow in our lives.
All unique in our own special way and allowed to be that is such a marvelous treasure that no one can compare.
Our world is huge and think further than the diversity of our world but those that are in the universe. Where can we go from there.
As far as the mind will allow.
Huge Possibilities

The concept of diversity is acceptance and respect. "It means learning and understanding we are all unique, what a blessing that is. These differences of uniqueness can be gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnic identity, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religion and or spiritual beliefs, political beliefs or ideologies. The exploration of these differences with an open heart, open mind, which creates not a tolerance. But a celebration and acknowledgment. Because the largest thing we would discover is as fellow human beings we share more likeness than differences. How wonderful if we would all embrace diversity!" Have a blessed new year! God bless****

I define "diversity" in terms of how different people are when it comes to their thinking, values, intelligence, morality, etc. (in other words, I see diversity as being about what is on the inside rather than what people look like or define themselves as based on external factors).

I think a room full of people of difference races could actually contain a room full of people who think very much the same; while a room full of people of all one race could actually be filled with a mix of any number of different kinds of thinking.

Within personalities and stuff, there is a term called neurodiversity, which explains why some people never shut up and why some never speak. The wiring of neurons, the size of amygdalae and the amount of mirror neurons we have describe our personality.

Um, well... what do you mean by that? Your question is a little ambiguous. In what context do you mean? The best answer I can give to such a vague question is to point you to the following link...

Hope that helps...if not expand the question and ask again...Good luck!
