Battlefield 2142 Account problem...?

Question

Okay, so i'm just using dial-up, obviously too slow for joining multiplayer games. Well, all I wanted is to play the game on single player, but I couldn't get inside the game because it keeps on requesting an EA Games account. Is there a way to play the game without the need to create an online EA Account?

no...although there is a poor excuse for a single player game built in...the game was designed for online play...do yourself a favor and get broadband..its not much more expensive than dialup these days....
