Generally yes. Probably not in our life time, and not our children's, but in general it is possible only because it falls within the grasp of our perception of the universe.

A few restrictions must come to mind - the first is OUR level of technology. We can only transmit and receive radio and/or light based transmissions. That technology is very limited - mainly in speed and frequency. An advanced civilization must have evolved beyond such crude technologies and developed (or discovered) a technology that is much faster and more efficient. The problem is that using this technology with us is useless - as we have no way of picking it up on any instrument we use today.

I seriously do believe science has a lot of exciting things in store for us in terms of communication and breaking the speed of light barrier... and when that happens, the universe will become much smaller. :)

Well do the numbers ,, 100 billion stars (suns) estimated in our milky way galaxy, 50 Billion estimated Galaxies in the known universe. the road block is the speed of light. with just the milky way being about 80,000 light years across, and modern scientific radio instrument being around for about 50 years,, it will take a while to see them and contact them, unless someone finds a faster then light way that other advanced aliens might use to communicate.

Yes it is scientifically possible. Very recently, a meteorite that landed in northern Canada had traces of organic matter in it.

I think extraterrestrial life will be discovered very soon, probably on mars. Not the type of extraterrestrial your probably thinking of, but a microorganism or as such near water.

As per your other questions, we don't know is the answer for all of them.

not on your and my existence cases--if it takes position it's going to be thousands of years contained in the destiny even as gravity wave verbal replace has been perfected by way human beings and an alien civilization it truly is making an attempt to talk with alien civilizations, also.

yes it is possible but very unlikely.
They surely exist but the chances of a personal encounter is extremely rare.
There is a chance that we will intercept a radio signal from one but again it may never happen.
Although there may be millions of technological aliens out there they may be very short lived!

I agree with lildookie. Why would a civilisation advanced and intelligent enough to travel here concern itself with such narrow-minded creatures as ourselves?
My guess is they're observing our self-destructive behaviour and wondering whether to give us a little longer to sort ourselves out or clear us out and start afresh.

For us yes it's very plausible and the unrest and people willing to blow each other up will humans survive themselves long enough in the future? I think they would blow each other up first before they had an opportunity to seek out inteligent life.
