Some rare people do bleed through their entire pregnancy, but it is not often, unfortunately. I'm afraid you may be having complications and suggest you call your OB immediately. I know it is a weekend, but their answering service will relay the message. Do not wait.

That you have already had two scans makes me wonder if you are already known as a high-risk, as around here you generally only get one scan and it's at about 20 weeks.

Best of luck, hun.

Are you just spotting or are you bleeding as in filling a tampon or pad?If you are filling a feminine product daily you should call the doctor immediately for a visit...don't take no for an answer. You may also have a condition called placenta previa in which the baby implants over the exit of the uterus and normal movement by you during the day irritates the implantation spot and causes minor spotting.Either way an ultrasound sounds like a good and important thing to have done asap.Bear in mind a baby at 9-12 wks is not any bigger than a grain of rice so it is TINY! By twelve weeks you can usually see the grain of rice pulse with a heart beat though and it is very impressive.Good luck!

Hi,
I have been through something very similar just before xmas, I was 11 weeks and started bleeding very lightly, over the weekend the bleeding became worse and I went to the hospital where they scanned me, only to find that there was a sac, but no baby, it took a further 11 days for my body to acknowledge that all was not well and reject the pregnancy. It was a very traumatic time. I understand your concerns, unfortunately there is nothing we can do in situations like these, it is a matter of waiting it out, which is easier said than done.
If you begin to develop any pain then phone the Early Pregnancy Assessment ward at your local hospital, or if they are shut, (which mine was over the weekend) phone NHS 24, they were very helpful.
My thoughts are with you.

I suggest you go to your local hospital.

I bled on and off through out my pregnancy but recommend that you at least get it seen to now incase there is a real problem.

Fingers x'd for you!
