Interesting responses many are saying more conservative but whats the rationale behind it.
Why would future generations be more conservative, especially looking from past elections the nation seems more prone to elect democrats then republicans.

a crystal ball that works 100% of the time I don't hae access to, I think that the pendulim swings both ways, I look for it to go more liberal, then back to conservate, too bad it doesn't stop in the middle of the road where great minds meet

More conservative. Actually there was research done and found that conservatives have FAR more children than liberals, and since the vast majority pick up their basic political views from their parents, the conservatives should dominate politics almost completely within 10 years to 15 or so.

Conservative values arise out of family values, for the most part. They actually have little to do with Christianity or relgion. (For example, conservative men in Thailand often spend a few years in monestaries as monks, not just to study Buddhism but to prepare for raising families as a person with good values.)

Liberal values arise out of coastal cities with diverse ethnic groups as well as teen angst and rebellion against authority. Women also often gravitate toward liberal values until they begin having families, whereas men are more likely to be attracted to certain conservative values, like military service, gun ownership, and national defense.

Both liberals and conservatives have always existed, and they always will, and they will always vascillate in power. It's human nature.

In the US, wars make us reactionary, and at the moment, we're drifting toward liberal and socialist values. As baby boomers retire, we're likely to grow more anxious for a welfare state, and the younger generation is very likely to rebel against the idea of paying for all of us old gezers and our climbing medical bills.

The "x" generation will be the most conservative, I think, and they will look upon these years as America's dysfunctional period. (I look forward to it. I have a lot of confidence in the 20-40 age group in the US.)

At the moment, throughout the world as a whole, liberals are a tiny proportion of the population, if you think about it. What we consider "conservative" here in the US would be moderate or moderate liberal in other countries. Roman Catholicism and Islam are both extremely conservative, and there are billions of them.

We may have generations that are more conservative than the last one but the trend will always be toward the liberal. It is attrition. The things we wish not to face today are the institutes of tomorrow.

More conservative, or the end.

EDIT: My rationale is the behavior, attitudes and personality of my child, his classmates and other children I observe. Of course they're still very young. Many of these children come from torn up homes, or parents who use drugs and alcohol. They will want better.

Frick, we're going so far right wing it's scary. Pasco County in Florida passed a law last year that if a NUDE DANCER at a strip club SHOWS TOO MUCH she can get arrested for prostitution.

Bush and his Bible thumpin gang have taken the checks and balances out of our government and are re-writing the books. We're becominga country just like the middle east, we'll be using religion and ideology to divide us into war and destruction.

more conservative and religious......why?

because at first, humanity were amazed by the technology advancements and the wide window of science that was opened upon them..... at that time, 100 years ago, people thought that they will find answers for all things and they thought that religion are nonsenese.......however, now, after all these advancements, we discovered that there are many ununderstable things in biology, universe, and human body....... and also, people, like muslims, found that some of these new discoveries are found in the holy Quran..... they found also, there is no contrary between religion and science at all..... they are in harmony in fact... so, they become more religious, and they began to bring up their children on religious basis too........

however, for cinese and hindu that have man made religions...... they will not become more religious, they will lose there nonsense and become more involved in science like machines with no deep understanding or religious basis......

Winston Churchill stated that to be young and not be a Liberal means you have no heart, but to be older and not be conservative means you have no brains. What do you think?

More liberal.

Conservatives just label liberals "libtards" shout "blah blah blah" call people jealous, rant like little spoilt children, and have nothing of significance to add to any debate on this earth.

How the hell are they the future exactly?
