I suffer from low esteem and a serious lack of confidence due to my time in school. I'm wondering if anyone knows of something i can do to get my confidence up, like dancing or confidence classes etc. Preferable could you also find me the prices. Also i live nearish to Swansea so any around that area would be good.
This is also weird as i'm a Drama student in my final year so i would love to be able to go up without being too nervous.
Thanks for your help

It just takes time and experience in the field which you lack esteem. If its life, then you have to live it. It isn't the end of the world if something small goes wrong. Also, just tell yourself.... If tomorrow was the end of the world, how would I live today? Then live it like that. take small steps

Dont be caught up with these such words.. low esteem, lack of confidence, nervousness etc. Everyone has one head and two legs like you and nothing special in them. All are susceptible to oldage illnesses and death in physical, and good performance and bad are all too common with everyone. Even the great man in their teens failed several times and passed afterwards in their education and careers. TRAINING AND SERIOUS EFFORTS ONLY GIVE RISE TO ONESELF. Never give up yourself in wrong belief that you are an inferior being created by some other "Bad-God"! God creates only unique beings throughout this universe!

When I was about 10 years old and very, very shy my auntie said to me 'Pamela remember when you walk into a room walk in with your head held high and keep on saying to yourself 'I am just as good as any of these people here and I might even be a little bit better". I am now 54 and I have remembered these words to this day and would you believe it I do not have to use them much anymore! So keep your chin up girl and remember those words.

As I read the beginning of your question I was going to say why not try acting or other performance arts. Then I saw later that you are a Drama student! Have you talked in through with your tutor?

A drama student with low confidence? I would advise you to talk to your tutors or your college mentor.
