Bite him back.............put antiseptic on it and a band-aid and you will be fine...it happens to my kids all the time.
The more they are handled the less chance of you getting bit, if he sits in his cage all the time you are likely to get bit...so play with it and handle it more.

Clean your wound and forget it. Hamsters make bad pets for children as they are unpredictable (may bite). They hibernate, (look dead), and they live only 24 to 28 months. Just long enough to get attached to then they die. I buried 2 (Live) hamsters before I got a book ( on raising hamsters) and realized they were not dead just hibernating. Next time this happened I placed the "rodent" on a towel over a heating pad and in a short time he was trying to escape.

LOL. First of all, relax and stop reading stupid answers on here. Many hamsters bite and its nothing serious. Wash the wound, put on an antiseptic and a bandaid.
When he bit you were you trying to take him out of the cage? Its their only defense mechanism so don't get mad at the little guy. Try and read him :) He got scared or didn't like what you were doing.

Clean the wound with an aniceptic and put a bandaid on if necessary it will be sore probably a few days. He probably thought it was food. Sometimes if they are hungry they will grab and think it's food and if it is pregnant it gets territorrial.

You have to go to the doctor to make you an anti-titanus injection. Wash the wound before and sterilize.
