Here are a couple reasons I get for asking, "Why african Americans dont work hard to better themselves in society" (check my profile)
1. Media Conspiracy- The media DOES NOT commit the crime, they just report it! They dont give the black guy a gun to rob and rape someone, there are solid stats to prove it.
2. Slavery - For crying out loud I haven't known any white man who owned a slave, do you? why do blacks feel the need to be compensated.
3. Poverty, lack of Help- This I find laughable, we hear of stories from immgrants, AFRICANS, MEXICANS, CHINESE who come to this country, from war torn countries, no parents, poor, who cant even speak english. They work real hard to have an education, job, a stable family, and a quality life. Help is everywhere, you just have to have the WILL to look for it.
Im sick and tired off all this complaining from African-Americans, frankly they are giving the AFRICANS a bad wrap in this country. We all need to pitch in to make his "america" work.

Okay, if there are any African Americans that get mad or offended by this, i'm sorry. I'm half black myself! lol, but the reason why African Americans do this (( i don't )) is because I guess they think since they were slaves a long time ago, then they should get treated better (even though we all have the same rights no matter what race). But it's not so much as African Americans, it's everyone. But yes, indeed, there are a higher rate of African Americans commiting crimes (especially robbery and murder). I do not know why they do this for sure... Yet, many African Americans get mad and call white people racist if they ask them to leave a store or something because they look suspicious ***While 90% of the time, something bad happens***... But, it's everyone, the whole world. Everyone thinks someone or something isn't being put right on their part. BUT I HAVE NO IDEA. I'VE ACTUALLY BEEN QUESTIONING THE SAME THINGS. MAYBE WE'LL FIND THE ANSWER!

1. criminals and victims come in all colors. the media chases after crimes committed by blacks because it makes them more money. this is the conspiracy. should blacks commit less crimes? of course.
2. the issue isn't slavery, it's Jim Crow, the federal housing laws, and everything else the came after slavery. Like the fact that laws against black and white intermarriage weren't stricken from the last state's law books until the 80s. and these laws were enforced.
3. the immigrants who come to this country are obviously people who have the education, resources, drive and ability to get here. That would be like all of our college graduates heading to japan. would then we say all Americans are absolutely brilliant, hardworking and industrious? of course not, because that would then contradict YOUR point that a strong population of Americans are lazy and whinny.
4. you need to lay off of the racism. There are people who actually have good points. you don't. the idea that blacks need to revitalize their culture is not new. however, having ignorant comments like this is just providing fuel for those who believe all whites are racist and against them.

I know I'll get tons of thumbs down for this non-sense I wrote, but hear me out:
I know it irritates you and many other white people who are in the closet with their fustrations on this, and it's understandable when you don't know all the reasons why this is.
However, before you present your fustrations any further about it, you should probably try to learn more about black culture and understand where all of the complaints are coming from.
Some black people do go overboard and play the blame game out of ignorance, making all the other blacks with real problems, look bad. However, those blacks who DO have valid reason for their complaints exist and those issues are very real.
Don't just rely on "statistics" some non-black group made up. Go out and meet, and talk to some black people and really try to understand the problems to get a better understanding. You won't learn anything from them if you hear what they say with biased opinion and jaded feelings either. You have to learn the info as it is.

I sure wish all the wealthy brothers n sisters would help defend those in Darfur and Chad who are getting slaughtered by the Sudanese. People with big bucks like Oprah, Dr. Dre, Snoop, the NBA etc. should join forces and hire an army to save those defenseless people since the US is tied up in Iraq.

Sometimes it is other people's faults.....racism against Blacks has never gone away despite the diversification in America....but some people use that as an excuse to get away with anything which makes it look like whenever racism is accused in the situation, it looks like an "excuse".

African-Americans are not only disgracing the africans but the americans as well. It is easier to be lazy and try to make the quick buck here and there then to get a regular job. Now ther are plenty of black, successful people. But more of the blacks live in poverty and live off the taxpayer.
