Go to your bank as soon as possible and try to put a stop on the transaction - if you did it within the last day or two, you MIGHT be lucky enough to stop it. Start phoning any emergency numbers you have for your bank, or the bank you transferred the money to, and leave messages.
Contact the nearest police station to the bank branch you transferred the money to, and see if they can do anything.
Contact your local police as soon as possible and see if they can do anything.

Try sending your emails to this link - it deals with british citizens being conned by foreign scams, but they may work with your kind of case too. If you chase up this website, there should be contact numbers you can phone too.

Yes I got one of those too on the internet but I checked it outvia email and the email address was not valid. For that reason Ifound out it was a scam. You wont get your money order back.Friends of mine sent money for a poetry /storybook that was supposed to containtheir childrens stories in it. The so called publishing company conned a few parents into buying a book that never ever waspublished. It was claimed that our stories would be published. Be aware.

If you contact the the sender(western union etc.) They will offer every assistance if the deal is a scam.I have just been in contact over an ebay scam and they know where it was collected and who collected it.Obviously the I.D. they use has to be real but would have to contain address on at least one form of I.D.I suppose different firms will have different procedures but would recommend this as your first port of call so to speak. good luck

Only ever send money by Moneygram or Western Union to people that you know. Never use it to buy anything as you are not protected from faulty goods or scams. It is the preferred method of scammers!

None at all.
When you win a lottery, it's because you've bought a ticket and then they send money to you!
