Ooo! Adrian Brody and Jim Caviezel would be good in that part! While I was reading the book I always pictured someone like Alfred Molina though, simply because the pope is ususally in his 60's or 70's and therefore the camalengo would have to be a bit older too. I also imagine Antonio Banderas, but he would have to be a lot less pretty that he normally is. I think he'd be good at playing the "smooth as glass but all kinds of cuckoo underneath". I also picture the assassin as the man who is currently in "Blood Diamond", playing opposite Leonardo DiCaprio.

There both quite old, i imaged the Carmalengo to be younger.
