Interesting to know that most women dont mind. But I still think its more respectful not to call them chicks, right girls?

I don't have a problem with being called a 'chick'...
What I don't like, is being called a '*****', a 'ho', & other similiar words... Even if the guy's kidding...
& I really hate it when a man calls me 'Woman'... You know: 'Come here, Woman'... Grrr... It makes me want to walk in the opposite way... After I punched the guy on the nose...

No, we refer to ourselves as chicks. Of course it depends on how the term is used. Cute chick, some chick, mean chick, ugly chick, nice chick....

i don't usually have a problem with it. only when someone is doing it to patronize me. ya know...the type of guy that HAS to use a 'cute' nic name for you, even when you don't KNOW him.
i really don't like hearing,
"hey baby, aren't you a cute looking chick" from an old nasty man i don't know.
*cringe!*
