I have to click in order to make the mouse move. Then I can move it for exactly 7 seconds and then I can't move it again. I have a very important computer asignment to be done in like 15 minutes. I have already used 10 minutes of the time given. So I am really[multiply by 1000] desperate. Any sugestions?

You got 3 options
1- Unplug ur mouse check wire if any one is brake if not plug in other usb port
2-If a pin is brake buy new mouse they are not costly
3-download softwares which can convert ur keyboard to mouse i also use one few weeks ago but i forget its name search for mouse genrater in gooogle.com or www.download.com

Here's what ya do. Shut down your computer. Unplug you mouse. . .Then plug it back in, then restart your computer. Also, if your using a USB Mouse, you need to install the driver.

just shut down your pc and get off the mouse cable and plug it back when the pc shut down after that restart your pc and also check the mouse ball and clean it with a piece of cloth try these i think these should work otherwise change your mouse

I hope this isnt to late but if you are useing win xp try going into my computer -----then control panel then go to ----accesibility options . ----then click on mouse tick the box to use mouse keys --------------- now you can use your arrow keys or num pad arrows to move the mouse --- click settings to set the speed and aceleration rate you wish the pointer to move at hopefully your left click still works -----if not use the enter key when you move the mouse over a button i hope this helps

Try to clean the dust if ur using a ball mouse in the mouse otherwise if it is optical try to clean the dust on the bottom of it

if u can't troubleshoot the problem then temporarily use ur num keys to control ur pointer. to enable this option goto the mouse options in control panel and check the required box

hi buddy,
two thngs u can do immediately;
[1]restart ur computer,
[2]pull-out the mouse's cable frm the CPU and push-in again.
this will surely solve the problem.

Plug the mouse in another available USB port.Then if this doesn't works you can go and buy another mouse.
