Why not try checking the simple things first.
Is there enough water in the cooling system.
Are there any leaks.
Replace the radiator/expansion bottle cap (the more water is pressurised the higher the boiling point)
Change or remove the thermostat.
If the water pump is driven by a fan belt is the belt lose.

I have had several vauxhalls over the years, no overheating problems.
Try blasting through the engine and radiator with a garden hose.

If it has an electric fan, the switch on or near the radiator sometimes fails. Replace the inexpensive switch and hope you haven"t cooked the engine

Vauxhalls don't overheat any more than any car with a problem. If you're asking why your car overheats, more detail please.
