It depends on the situation. I grew up an Army brat and we moved every 2 years just about so I was always the new kid in school and had to learn to make new friends easily. I think it actually was good for me because I think that is why I am so accepting of people and their differences and can fit into about any situation. So that can be a good thing even though it's hard at the time. Of course our family moved as a family from place to place so I still had a sense of stability in my life. I think it depends on the situation. Now, moving a child back and forth between parents can be another story because they also have the stress of the parents differences on them. I think the key is to have some kind of stability in the family during all those moves that makes the difference.

Yes. When I was born, my parents were very poor. My father worked a lot to get us into better neighborhoods and bigger apartments, then houses. That's great and all, but every time we moved, I had to make new friends, which was hard once I was a teenager.

Now that I have kids of my own, we are staying here until they move out.

i've moved over twenty times and most of them before i was twelve. I'm ****** up as hell, mostly know one can tell, but it seriously affected my abilty to keep any kind of a relationship and as a result i am constantly depressed. But then a again my brothers and sister are completely normal, so i guess it could go either way.

It wouldn't be good because the poor little kids would lose their mates all the time & that is bad & it may make them loners
they will be like nomads later on wanting to move always
