first rule, as long as its Nvidia its all good.
as a general rule the higher the number the better the card.
BUT
there are some instances where that need not apply.for eg-
a 512 MB 6800 GTX is better than a 128 MB 7100,7200,7300

so from this we can surmise that any card greater with a number 7500 or greater will surely be better than the 6 series. also a higher memory in a graphics card is always advisable. you could always check out the CNET reviews for graphics cards.
also remember that even though a good grpahics card is vital for good gaming you also need vast amounts of RAM, a speedy processor and space in your hard drive for the games.
remember to update your drivers regularly.

Happy new year.

If you don't know much about the specs then the more they cost the better they are. The best way to find out for sure is to search the tech websites for benchmarks and compare the numbers.

I think the 9200 is slightly better than the 6150 but they are pretty bad compared to today's standards.

The only way to really tell is to test them on games. But also remeber that the number after Geforce doesnt always mean it is better, so the 6800 could be better then the 7100 etc.
