can i get a jack that plugs into my earphone jack so that 2 people could both use headphones at the same time?

Yes u will find a small jack one end 1 male Earphone pin and other side 2 earphone female pin ... i am using same

There are splitters that split one line into two. My friend has one for his iPod.
