One would hope so, except that they are proxies for vicious people in other Arab countries. And the corruption among their leaders robs them of the fruits of their labor.
One would also like to think that peace with Israel would bring economic prosperity, and perhaps it will: but they are unlikely to be dealt with fairly by the Israelis in terms of water sharing, taxes, jobs and pricing. Although only actual peace and opportunity to test this notion will prove me right or wrong. I hope wrong: I would like to see prosperity and equality and sovereignty over their respective lands.

The Palestinians don't want peace. At least I haven't ever heard it on the news. They raise their children to self destruct and being that is the most important thing to them, what would they do if they could not. No peace will not come to Palestinians if they keep raising their children this way.

Or they could move to Jordan, the real Palestinian nation.

the palistinians teach their children at a young age(as soon as their children can comprehend)to strap bombs onto themselves and kill anyone who does not believe in radical islam.the radical islam is the enemy of the world,as long as there is radical islam,there will be no peace anywhere.
