Philosophical answer:
I don't believe in the concept of gain & loss...When one door closes, another one opens.A tree sheds his leaves to grow new ones afterwards.Some of them left and others came back! But right there all along, I am always there in the middle of all.
Whew! how da heck did I come up with this!?

I lost a good friend once through my own mistakes. I still think of her often, and wish I was still in touch with her. However, a lesson was learned and I've grown up since then. I value my current friends even more now.

Well, i lost all of my friends but gained one.
And she is... let's just say, she is amazing!
She is the equivalent of all the friends i could ever need.

I havent been out much I have been trying to get back into school and finding a job, so there is not much time for them. I think they understand, but hopefully they are still around
