Is it possible to always be happy? Or do some people just pretend to be happy? I have friends who for example may have a rotten hangover but still they are happy. I on the other hand with a hangover am grumpy

I am happy all the time...don't do drugs, don't smoke, I guess some people are just born to be happy all the time.

I think there may possibly be some people who are by nature, just happy all of the time. Realistically though I can't imagine it. For example, I act like I am happy all of the time, but I hide what I feel for the most part very well. So if you were to ask a co-worker of mine if I am happy all the time, outward appearances would show as such. Those who truly know me, my very best friends, for example, are the only ones that I sometimes will share what I'm unhappy about.

I think being happy 100 percent of the time is unusual. Everyone has a down day, a sad day, or a depressed day. I do know that I was taught to tell patients to fake until they make it. Which kind of means make yourself happy by doing things like painting your nails, hanging out with friends, talking to someone about how you feel, getting out of the house, go exercise. And it's okay to have bad days, that is normal. However when those bad days take over your life or interferes with your life and daily routine then you need to talk to someone. And it's the season of ups and downs. Most people have moodiness during winter months because of the weather and the holidays.

What the bloody hell is a hangover? And anyway, i believe it is not possible to be happy all the time. I mean REALLY happy, not pretending to be. It seems really impossible. There will surely be something that people hates...

Having a hangover is a physical and mental sickness that time can cure. The reason people are not happy during this period is that the body is suffering and trying to recover, obviously, but less obviously is that you are subconsciously suffering from guilt, the guilt associated with self abuse of over drinking. If you stop abusing you body you will have less guilt and be happier. Remember it is the only body you have, you presumably you would not abuse your car, so why abuse your body.

It doesn't matter what you have... what your doing.. or what you did, your only has happy as you make up your mind to be. Keeping a positive attitude and avoiding any negativity from the start or dealing with issues and discussing your feelings will always lead to happiness. After all, we are creaters of emotion. But really.. its just the way you look at it ;-)

Some people think it's crazy to raise their voice or shed tears with others present, while some think that someone who always acts happy must be either psycho or seriously shallow. Don't let it get to you. People are just different. They don't have to be like you, but you also don't have to be like them..Personally I prefer someone who throws things at me before someone who's always "OK"!
What I'm trying to say is; a rose is still a nice flower even if it's not a lily, if you know what I mean.

if that person is normal... they aren't always happy. some people prefer to keep it in and show the happy mask. no one likes to be around grumpy people so in socity we all seem to put on masks... it's a survival technique
