After Saddam's death 10+ American soldiers where shot to death and 30+ shia's where murdered. If you could spare Saddam's life for one American soldier to see New Years would you? Saddam or not People are still dying and the government is still corrupt and worse then ever. So was it really worth it? feel free to answer my other questions as well.

They thought it was worth it. They enlisted to serve this country and if necessary give their life.
However, we so went about it the wrong way. Occupations fail. Always have, always will. We knew this and yet we still chose this route when other options were readily available.

I heard 75 Iraqis were killed by car bombs after his death but I heard nothing about 10 American soldiers.. I'm against the war to begin with so no American lives should be sacrificed..What I do hope for is Muslim will stop killing Muslim and the Arab world to write the truth about Saddam and his brutality !

Its very sad that those soldiers died, but they died defending our country against those who want to destroy. I think that Saddam's death was a great influence in the Muslim world and if people are killing because of his death, the only to blame is them, not us.

Everything seems to be so out of control! How can we ever feel safe again? It seems like our men and women soldiers are loosing more and more of their lives instead of it getting better. What is the problem?

It wasn't worth it to begin with, so since nothing has changed, the price that has been paid by everyone (including those abroad and here at home) has been overwhelming.

We can't force freedom onto others through military means just because we think it is the right thing to do. We aren't God and shouldn't try to pretend we are.
