War is not something that can be understood, so stop trying. It's never a good thing. Sometimes it's necessary. It's impossible for us to decide if that's the case with this war. I do think it's time to start pulling out, but the only people who will be able to say whether it was justified or not are historians about a hundred years from now, people who didn't experience 9/11, the Iraq civil war, etc., and therefore are not as biased as we all are today. And as far as people saying why won't the gov't pull out troops out and save their lives, know this: our troops know the danger they're in. They accept it and know what it is they're fighting for. I know because I was there.
As far as starving Iraqi kids goes, do you think things would be any different if we were never over there? Radical gov'ts cause death and destruction within their own borders. The worst thing we can do is nothing. Then it will never stop.

I guess that will come after they use chemical warfare on their own people...

Or maybe when Bush and Blair lie, refuse to let UN inspectors in, and blatantly reinforce the belief that they are making nuclear weapons to use on their enemies- KNOWING that their own people will needlessly die by refusing entry. Why? because they would rather have other countries THINK that they have nuclear arms than tell the truth and avoid their own people being killed.

or maybe after they just let everyone be "free and peaceful" and sit back and do nothing when those "innocent civilians" (who, by the way, grow up believing YOU are evil and need to die) come and drop bombs on you (and you can bet that there will be no one on Yahoo answers from their country crying about it).

War sucks. People die -even children. It is not something to be happy about, but its not something that is going to stop. The US and Britan can completely step out of the picture and war would still happen. THIS war could have been prevented if Hussein hadn't lied, but he was too proud to tell the truth and let the UN in. He can burn in hell for all I care.

personally I am so sick of the ranting and raving of anti bush, and I don't even like the guy.....I would like to see all the people who continually seem to have all the answers go to the friggen white house steps, take their signs, and go tell them what you think...It is solving NOTHING here on this site, other than getting people all worked up over something we American Individuals have absolutely no control over.....WE can't do a damn thing individually to stop this war, and whatever else is going on...no matter how many in numbers either....not the mothers who have lost their only sons in this stupid war either.....He who has the gold, has the power......there is so much stuff going on over there that I guarantee, we don't see a third of it....the killings you refer to, you just hear little tid bits...not the whole picture....Unless you are Iraqi, or someone else from over in that region, and witness the atrocities first hand, your talking to hear yourself talk.....like posting what you did is really going to have some major effect tomorrow...it won't change anything........the world will continue to be destroyed day by day with the help of mankind......People, Places, and All things..for what, religion, power, and whatever else nut jobs get off on..........shame isn't it.........

I don't think they ever will be. Blair is just a pawn. Bush is the cause for all this. He's causing all this insurgency. Why didn't he just stick to Al-Qaeda and Afghanistan. Those were the people who attacked the WTC. That would have made more sense then having to attack Iraq.

under 60,000 Iraqi's have been killed. under 2,000 have been by twist of destiny killed by technique of American forces. something have been killed by technique of terrorists/insurgents/iranians. And specific, a hundred and fifty+ British squaddies have been killed, it fairly is regrettable yet unavoidable. Its conflict. besides, i think what "bowled over me the main" approximately your question is, properly, your question. Your numbers have been the two incorrect and inflated contained whilst it comes to the Iraqi's....and you low balled the British casualties. for sure you're actually not a supporter of the conflict on Terrorism - and that's large - yet until now you go around attempting to undermine our squaddies and our us of a with fake accusations you ought to to evaluate how your own secure practices is in jeopardy... - Or do you extremely think of "international warming" is the actual threat?

All the Gorge Bush haters should realize he is the President of the United States, he will be fine, he is not guilty of anything except appeasing you liberals. If I were him I'd outlaw American media and throw all you radical liberals in prison for life, and that's my opinion. It is WAR people die, would you like the terrorists fighting in the American streets, what if they came here and destroyed everyone in your neighborhood, I'd bet you'd think differently then.

where doyou get your information? you suggest that the bombing of Iraq was done specifically to destroy the lives of innocent civilians.

let me remind you that saddam ROUTINELY hid behind women and children "human shields", and would routinely hide his military weaponry in civilian neighborhoods.

i think you need togo back and re-learn your history before you start talking about who needs to be hanged, you trendy ambulance chasing moron.
