V and Gordon make the same breakfast and both like collecting art, and there are a few other similarities. Is it possible that V and Gordan could have been lovers before V became V. I know it doesn't fit w/ the part where he loves Evee, but V did have his DNA segnificantly changed, and could have had his sexuality also changed. Is there anything in the graphic novel that would suggest any connection between V and Gordon?

The breakfast scene only takes place in the movie and there is no mention of a relationship in the CB between V and Gordon. In the comic Gordon is not gay and has a sexual relationship with Evey. There was a lot of stuff changed from the book. Most notable was Evey dawning the cape and Guy Fawkes mask to continue V's mission.

The V in the movie was clearly a man but in the comic the answer is far less clear, we are lead to think that V is a man in the comic however there is some evidence that may suggest that she is in fact a woman. If you havn't read the comic I would recomend you do, don't think you understand what happens in the comic because you saw the movie, they are two VERY diffrent entites (sp?).

Doubtful lol, but as V says there are no coincidences, so it probably has some relevance. It could just demonstrate that although V is portrayed as some kind of terrorist, that he displays the same kind of behaviours as any normal man. HTH : )

Of course, anything is possible, but I think the writer was trying to convey the similarities between the 'people' and their champion. This was expedient to that end.

i pretty much doubt there was a link btw the two except the author was trying to show the views over many ppl. if anything i think there was a link with v and Evey's father.

that's a stretch...

I think the similar social graces illustrates that V was not a monster, but a polished gentleman...
