I heard a song about a guy who is talking about waking up and having a beer for breakfast and then a cigarette. He then goes for a walk and talks about what he sees. Something about a girl going for a walk or something. It is definitely written by a guy who must have lived that life himself as no one could make it up or see life that way!! Any suggestions! It's a song sung by a guy playing a guitar if that helps.

Its a guy playing a guitar. It sounds a bit dated as well. I would say its rock music. I tried to search for the song on google using lyrics and keywords but no luck. Words I can remember are beer, breakfast, cigarette, walk. Sounds like a definite alcoholic!!

Is it an older song? There's a song by Kris Kristofferson called "Sunday Morning Coming Down" that was also sung by LOTS of other people. It talks about having beer for breakfast, smoking cigarettes, getting dressed and taking a walk. He sees a kid playing, a little girl on a swing, etc.

do you know any of the lyrics? if you do just look up "-the lyrics you know- lyrics" on google. that's what i do, and it usually comes up with the song i'm looking for.
