Take care, brush your hair. Or oh oh, try this, it's great- if you are on the phone say "bye ugly" and they will not have enough time to react so out of habit they will say "bye' then the phone hangs up, they realize what happened, and it is too late to get you! Ha ha!
I really like Joel's catch phrase: "Bye"- that's a good and original one, I'm gonna try that one and tell you how it works.

When I leave for work, I say "Bye Mammaw, Bye Tatum (my dog). I love you (to the dog). Then I say "Y'all don't get in no trouble!" I know it's lousy English, but it's a joke!
To my friends, I say "Bye, Babe!"
Everyone else gets what I am paid to say..."Have a Beautiful Day!" although I prefer "See you later!"

I say later, see ya, or peace, or even the conventional bye. But I've heard " peace to the mid east, or later my home skillet biscuit"
