I've never seen so many retards, crackpots, fruit loops, nut cases, nitwits, crackbrains, loonies, unbalanced, illogical, irrational, delusional, emotional, pompous, snotty fools congregate together in one place before like they do there. Is there some contest for biggest retard in there? (Seems like everyones winning in there if there is)

Be honest man! how do you really feel about religion and politics.
ok. Really , here's the thing alot of points you can make about religion and politics are subjective because of the nature of the subject few people are motivated enough to sift through everything and really get to the definitive answers....sometimes its impossible unless you work directly in politics and with the politicians, and like wise unless you were hanging out with JC or buhda or what have you have in the day. Its hard to say.
So these crack pot, typed unintelligible people find it a safe haven because they can say any old thing they want and feel like they really know the answer...like they really have a form of intelligence, when obviously its mostly opinion and speculation to begin with.

All the above mentioned used to hang out in the political yahoo news discussion boards. Trolls get hungry too. Dear Abby in the last few months also saw a rash of these types.

I tend not to go to "politics" (which should spare me from being seen as a crackpot etc.), but I have to agree about that "religion" category :)
I would have thought the questions would be - like -
"Who was the first pope" or "Do you know the names of the apostles"; but that site is little more than one person after another taking their shot at trying to point out why evolution cannot possibly be a real thing. It isn't questions. Its debate, and it isn't good debate either.

Sometimes people post controversial opinions just to get a reaction out of others. They may indeed be nut cases, or they may merely be bored or lonely or just plain enjoy arguing.
Trolling on Yahoo Answers is relatively safe; in real life they might get beaten up or stigmatized for saying off-the-wall things.
