i played basketball with this girl and she was really nice.But after basketball was over she started saying that i should call her. i don't want to call her or e-mail her any more!!!!!how do i tell her that. i don't want to be mean!!!

..well..just ignore her call or emails..make excuses when she calls you..if she isn't that dumb..she would understand your actions..

sorry but there is no "nice" way to tell people that! i'm not saying you have to be mean, it's just that you cant tell people to back off and say it in a nice way.
just say something like, "look, you're a really nice person and everything, but i don't want to be friends."
make it straightforward, dont go around in circles like
"you're a really nice person but i don't really want to be friends. i mean, it's not like I don't like you or anything, you're really kind, but i just don't want to be friends. dont get me wrong; youre really nice..."
just make it straightforward so your message is clear. and dont be afraid to tell the girl that you dont want her as a friend. hiding it will only make it worse, and then by the time you decide to tell her she may already feel very attached to you.

Just say that u dont want to be friends, at least not yet-nice and straightfoward, but taht u had lots of fun and that u guys can play again.

Straightforward. It maybe sounds rude, but you have to tell her clearly, in a calm, polite manner that you don't want to contact her.

there is no nice way to tell her that , just straightforward ... she may get hurt but its better than waiting cuz it may get worse !
