Cults, will seem very friendly at first, inviting you to go along with them on outings and will visit and give you food and other necessities if you need them. Later they will encourage you to separate yourself from everybody you have every know if they are not part of the cult. They usually say they have a better way to salvation or karma and are the ultimate only truth.

They tend to occupy all of your time, want to know everything about you, your family to the point of coming into your home while away to examine what you may or may not possess. They want you to check your brain at the door and become a lemming. The women of those cults are perfect housewives, similar to the movie "The Stepford Wives". Must obey her husbands every word and not vary from it.

Cults of this caliber will have you fired from employment, use guerilla tactics, make your life hard, play dirty tricks to harrass you.

They often start by sending in someone seductive of the opposite sex. They figure out what you need, like friendships or relationships, and provide that. They give firm answers to questions, but they also give you community. Then, as you get involved, they often reduce your protein intake, telling you to eat only rice or be a vegetarian, because lack of protein reduces your inability to think. They also cut you off from friends or family, telling you "they" wouldn't understand.
