1. First of all, reputed international judges should have conducted the case to pronounce the degree of involvement of crimes supposed to have been done on shias and kurds and his direct involvement in the same.
2. If attrocities had been committed by using the chemical weapons, then which country gave him the chemical weapons? Are they not responsible also? What punishment willl have to be given to them?
3. When USA supported Saddam, what was the motive? Is it in anyway responsible for alleged offences committed by Saddam?
If so, what responsibility USA should share on this?
An international committee of Judges would have brought that out in the case, which would have facilitated what it is to be done with Saddam- your doubt would have been cleared well.

I've heard on CNN that a person condemned to die has the right to choose the way he is to die and he wanted to be shot, but still he was hung. I think at least his last wish should have been respected.

No one deserves to be hanged, it's a very barbaric thing to do. I would have preferred that he was given life imprisonment. His death will now cause even more insurgency in Iraq.

severe, slow, painful tortur. stretch him out naked. between 2 wooden posts. each wrist bound to a post. he stands on a simple wooden platform. let one person from each verifiable family that lost someone due to his torture or murder get in line. each of these people are provided a small simple awl.... each person is allowed to give him one poke excluding the heart, the eyes or the temple. we dont want him to die easy. after each person has had there poke, throw salt water on him. leave him in the sun for a few days. then, pour some gas around his feet and set it. not enough to kill, only to hurt. then let the masses stone him at the end like in the old days of the bible.
