its aizen's zanpankto.
his zanpankto has the power of hipnosis.
so his zanpankto hipnotised people and made them see aizen's body.
a zanpankto is the swords in BLEACH.
if you watch the dubbed version, i think they say sword instead of zanpankto.
i hate the dubbed version of BLEACH.
they cant even pronounce the names right.
the orginial japanese version is the best!
dont watch the american version.

Yes, he used a gigai. I think it was something like they didn't find out because of his hypnosis bankai that they said he showed everyone in the past. That made them all believe that the gigai was a real body.
