I know those acts ended a war earlier than they would have if just fought on the ground. Actually saving many more lives that would have been lost in a much longer drawn out ground war.

Win what? Those were unecessary acts, and questionable violations of wartime law. Since you're being partisan, your Rep Bush has no clue on how to fight the war on terror! Obviously he doesn't know how to win.
