Explanation to the mystery:
The methane gas in the water causes baubles on the surface. Research shows that enough bubbles can cause a ship to sink. Studies also show that the methane in the air causes airplane equipment to give inaccurate readings of the altitude of an aircraft.

As has been said, it is supposedly a place where ships and planes mysteriously disappear. A little known fact I picked up from a special on the triangle, at least as far as aircraft go, more planes have gone missing over the continental U.S. than in the triangle. Their wreckage is laying out there somewhere waiting to be discovered. No one talks about a "U.S. triangle" though.

The mystery of the Bermuda Triangle is how intelligent people can place faith in the writings of authors who cite writings of other authors in a circular fashion. The mystery of the B.T. is how it mysteriously changes shape and size depending on who is writing. The mystery of the B.T. is how folks can totally disregard the scientific explanations, even on educational TV, and cling to ideas that nothing has been solved ever. The mystery is how people can make big money writing pseudo-science books about something that they have made up, and folks buy it and buy into it.

The greatest "mystery" of the Bermuda Triangle is why people think there is a mystery! Allegedly, boats & planes mysteriously disappear there, but if you look at the actual numbers, no more or less boats & planes go missing in this area than in any other large open area of ocean.

ohh...i love this mystery.
ok. so legend says that in the pacific ocean there is a triangle of gravity. it is not drawn out or can be seen in any way...its just there. if planes fly over it, they crash into its depths, submarines and ships sink. people have tried to uncover the mystery and visit the Bermuda triangle but they themselves have been sucked into it and never seen again. on the surrounding islands mobile connections go haywire and inter communications and electricity are all messed up. his is apparently due to the gravitational pull, like the moon has on the ocean.

the bermuda triangle is a place where at random times, ships, planes, and anything that crosses it just disappears. Some think they just sink, but no one can find the remains. So, some explanations have been narrowed down to a giant sea monster or aliens.

An area, in the shape of a triangle, off the southeastern coast of the US, where many famous cases of missing ships and airplanes have been lost. Many cases are unexplained, and so a mystery it is. Here's a good website:

It's a natural phenomenon. One theory is gas pockets beneath the sea. I'm certain you'll never find UFOs or Giant sea creatures but they do make for interesting movies...

its said to be a place where ships sink and planes fall from the sky, but its all because of the radio wave frequencies, and stuff like that, planes loose there connection, and so do ships, so people over react
