Shahid Afridi(PAK) and Sanath Jayasuriya(SL) each 217 sixes. But Afridi has achieved in less matches.

The record for most sixes in ODI carreer is held by Shahid Afridi of Pakistan and S.T. Jayasuriya of Sri Lanka. Both have hit 217 sixes each. While Afridi hit 217 sixers in 222 innings, Jayasuriya hig 217 sixes in 362 Innings.
Record for most sixes in an Innings is also held by the same players. While S.T. Jayasuriya hit 11 sixes against Pakistan in the Singer Cup 95/96 Match played at Singapore on 02.04.1996, Afridi hit 11 sixes against Sri Lanka in the 6th Match of KCA Centenary Tournament 1996/97 played at Gymkhana Ground Nairobi on 04.10.1996.
