Wii Disk Light?

Is there actually a way that I can make it stay on permanetly? Right now its dim and I changed the settings around a bit but with no luck. Read the manual too but I can't find anything. Can anyone help?

nope.
The disc light basically turns on as a signal that it has download some update or you have received email messages while it's idle.
