Well, if you haven't gotten anything in almost 2 weeks and you have seen your mailmain around, call your local post office and tell them your address and explain to them that you have seen your mailman but you haven't recieved any mail in a couple weeks. Maybe they will be able to find out why you haven't recieved anything. If you haven't seen your mailman, don't know what to tell you. If they are on vacation, there are subs to fill in for them so the mail gets delivered.

Contact the post office and ask.
Maybe there was a problem with the weather. Maybe someone else is checking or taking your mail without you knowing. Maybe some kids wanted to go through all your Christmas cards and check for money. Maybe someone stole your identity through identity theft and is getting all your mail so you don't see the credit card bills you didn't apply for. Maybe they suspended your mail because they thought you were on vacation for some reason. Or maybe they sent all your mail back because they thought you moved.

I've had the last scenario happen to me while I lived in a duplex, because the people in the other level would move, put in a change of address, and all my stuff would disappear. I was 20 years old, pregnant, and on MA, I almost lost it because social services was getting their mail to me returned to them. grrrr...
Boy did they hear it from me!
I guess only your local post office will be able to answer that.

He's been on Christmas vacation, duh! You try delivering all that stuff one holiday season and see if you don't take the next year off - at least Santa has reindeer and elves to help. Who helps your poor mailman? That stinking, snarling, growling, teeth-baring dog down the street? I think not!

Just relax - Mr. Mailman will be back after the New Year, suntanned and tequilaed to perfection, ready to face his rounds with a renewed sense of duty and a vision of permanent retirement to Punta Minta dancing in his head!
