I am looking for a good electric shaver, which delivers a close shave and does not irritate my skin. I am willing to pay up to $150-175. Thanks in advance!

Point out to any websites, or just name models of shavers

Braun electric razor. Is the best for that. You can get the best Brain makes for what you are willing to pay. Wal Mart carries them as does K Mart, I have also seen them at Dillard's.
I've tried them all. Heavy beard and thin skinned. Braun worked the best of all dry shavers. Fastest closest shave, no irritation. Neither Remington nor Norelco shaved as close as fast.

The above answers point out that different shavers have different results on different faces. The best bet is to try each one and see what is best for you. I personally use a Braun and I have used a Norelco and both types do a satisfactory job on my face, but to tell the truth I get the best shave with good old fashion shave cream and a Gillette razor.

Stay away from the microscreen shavers. They promise as close a shave as a rotary after using it for a few weeks but Ive been using mine for a couple of years now it it still does not shave as close as a rotary. I have the expensive Braun. Buy a remington or norelco rotary with 3 heads. Stay away, also from the other odd brand name razors.
