I used to think it would go away once you start your period... but sadly it doesn't lol.
But!! Use panty liners... you can get ones shaped for thongs too and they are great. They absorb it all and through the day you can remove them and then you have perfect clean panties. Another thing you can do is change them and you'll feel fresher.
They are also good because when you sit on a chair theres no sweat mark or anything...
This will definitely work I know from experience.

A small amount of discharge is normal ... but it shouldn't be accompanied by a bad smell. Bad smells are indicative of infections. Bacterial vaginosis is usually the culprit. This infection occurs when the natural pH of your vagina has been altered and there is an overgrowth of a bacteria that is naturally present. It can be cleared up with antibiotics.
However, I have struggled with bacterial vaginosis for years. No matter how many times I took the antibiotics, the infections would return. My doctor ended up suggested a pH balanced wash that helps alot and prevents me from getting the infections so much.
Yeast infections and STDs can also cause bad smells. My advice to you is to go to the doctor and get checked out. If infections are left untreated, they'll only get worse and can spread to other parts of your reproductive system. Until you can get to the doctor, wear pantyliners.

Panty shield are a good idea. But if the discharge has an awful smell you need to see a doctor. It should not have a bad smell.

Yes its normal and im 20 and the only thing you can do is try using panty liners it just makes me feel cleaner but you need to change them often throughout the day. also you can try rephresh vagnial gel every 3 days you use it and it keeps your ph level normal. i have the same problem and there isn't anything you can do as you get older you dry out

You can wear a very thin panty liner at all times to avoid the discharge from getting on your underwear.

Thankfully there are brands of panty-liners that have a little bit of baby powder on them. I think the brand I use is from Tampax. It helps keep down the smell and doesn't feel like you have a diaper on like a pad.

for most women it is normal for there to be an odor you can always buy scented panty liners and change them frequently or if the odor is that bad consult a doctor because it could be something that is able to be corrected with medication

yes this is also normal, at the supermarkets in the personal hygeine aisles they have panty liners, they exist in scented and unscented.....you need to invest in some of these, it is best to change the liner several times a day, so make sure you buy plenty.....good luck :D

try wearing pantyliners so that way it doesnt get on your panties and give you that not so fresh feeling... you can change liners as necessary also many liners "trap" odor and moisture so you wont feel unconfortable.
