I use DSL and the TV the Wii is connected to is very far away from my computer (TV's upstairs, computer's downstairs). How should I best go about connecting Wii to the internet? Does WiFi work with DSL and if so, how?

i am glad to help.
Wifi only works for wireless internet.
Can you make your DSL wireless?
Yes! you need a router for it. Check your modem. Sometimes certain model has a built in wireless in it.
Or if you don't want to buy a router, you can buy Nintendo Wi-fi USB connector. You basically plug that to your PC. and connect your PC to internet via DSL cable.
(Voila you turn your computer into a router)

Can you connect wii to internet?
Provided that you already have the router or that Nintendo Wifi, yes it can.
However, wii's WIFI signal receiver is quite weak...
It will be in your best interest if you move your computer and your wii closer together (both should be in the same room).

turn off that domestic dog and enable it cool down. Disconnect the Wiiconnect and then reconnect it. potential shrink lower back up after an hour or so. If it although runs warmth, then attempt it without the Wiiconnect for really. If the priority is going away, then it grew to change into the Wiiconnect. If it does not then the Wii itself must be the priority. be effective it has strong ventilation even as it truly is in use. If now not something works, you may want to be able to might want to desire to have it serviced. extra effective to be take care of than commence up a fireplace.
