Light is real, Not the vision. Sound is real, not the Hearing.
Light waves are electro magnetic and can travel in vacuum. Sound waves need a medium to travel.
all the waves carry energy. which can be converted to other forms of energy.
Strong sonic waves can break glass..
what blind man feels as heat are different kind eltro magnetic waves. They do not contribute in vision. even if you are not blind you can feel heat without seeing anything. that's altogether a different sense.
A deaf can be given feeling of vibrations from strong sound waves.

Both light and sound are very real. Sound is made of compression waves in air, water or whatever material it travels through. The face that a deaf person can not respond to it does not mean the compression waves are not there. If that were the case then a blind person would imply light is not real.

No, sound is also real. Sound is caused by mechanical vibrations traveling through any medium. We usually think of sound traveling through air but it actually travels faster through higher density mediums, that's why sonar (sound waves) work so well for ships. Ultra sound (very high frequency sound) is used to break up kidney stones so they can be passed.

both light and sound are forms of energies. while light travels in form of electromagnetic waves, sound travels in form of compressions and rare-fractions. light can travel even in a vacuum(no air) whilst sound requires a medium for propagation. Excess sound can impair
your hearing permanently( maximum tolerable is about 120dB).

yes you are correct thats why its the only transverse wave
there could be aliens that communicate by interpreting water waves for all we know
longitudonal waves are electromagnetic waves and sound( transverse is just vibrating of the air
