Yep. It means another year has gone by since the death of my wife, and another year where all my dreams ahve turned to dust...and another year farther from the only happiness I ever knew.

There is no joy in the beginning of the new year....no "happy" in MY new year....for me it is just another reminder of what I've lost...of what I'll never have...and of what can never be...

Yes it makes me sad especially if the previous has been a good year. I don't celebrate new year's eve, it's just another day for me..

No I haven't remembered that I feel sad, until you mentioned it T_T.

I'm the kind of person who like not to be bothered, it's so nice nobody interupt you when you into something. Though it has side effect to, don't you think? You feel lonely in the time of big day, when you imagine everyone gather and celebrate it.

No, you should never get sad because a new year is kind of a new beginning, not really but some see it as a milestone because you got through another year, and now you have to go through another one, its all bout the good times...

It depends: if you're in love with someone and have him/her by your side on New Year's Eve, then you just can't feel any happier; if you're alone and have no love in your life, instead, you get horribly sad:(((

Sometimes. I mean it all depends on who I'm with. Usually I'm rather happy but when I actually think about it....its a good thing to start over again, with a new year.
