Help! if anyone can relate please tell me, I just got married a couple of days ago and need to know what happens next, How can i petition my husband and how will he be able to travel with me and how long OR CAN HE EVEN TRAVEL WITH ME AT ALL?

I presume you mean your husband isn't an american citizen, congratulations by the way. Anyway, quite frankly it may not be wise to travel outside the country (depending on what kind of visa he currently has). Just get the ball rolling...http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis...get an immigration lawyer if you can afford one, if not, the process isn't complicated. Good luck!!

You need to explain yourself a bit more.

Ok.. your husband is an illegal alien (in whatever country you both reside - remember yahoo is a GLOBAL community), but what is YOUR citizenship - you neglected to mention that.

Generally when an alien marries a citizen he is granted residency as long as the marriage continues..that is fairly common in most countries.

BUT.. as with any country.. there is requisite paperwork. Until you get that processed he can be scooped up and sent 'home' leaving you both to play catchuup with the paperwork from outside of the country.

u need to start the procedure for the citizenship first and wait for the interview till he gets the green card and THEN he can move!

travel with you as in where? just like to different states, or different countries? if it is just to different states then ofcourse he can, but i dont know know about like going out of the country, sorry
