yes. . .be by yourself for a little while. all you need is one special person who will be a loner with you. it doesn't have to be a boyfriend or girlfriend, but even just a close friend allows you to not be rejected. i handle that, if you have not a friend, by focusing on your studies. do your homework during lunch/recess/break whenever and pursue your interests. you may find friends with the same interests as you.

hey it happens to all of us at one time or another.
I just got very quiet and kept to myself. Then I got involved in other activities meeting other friends and putting the others behind me and realizing that their opinion doesn't really count.
