ok whats your opinion? did they turn emo? because when listening to their 2nd album, they sounded emo. are they emo/pop punk? emo? what1!! and...what do u think of them. good or bad?

Now are you talking about The young and the hopeless which is their second album or Chronicles of life and death? which most people think is their second album. If it's the young and the hopeless, this album is just your typical punk rock with a touch of emo but mostly punk rock. Chronicles is a pop punk album which made me not like the band because of this so to me bad. hope this helps.

Um, turned? When were they not emo? And by emo I mean modern emo, when I was in high school emo was something completly different.

to me bands of the emo genre are dashboard confessional, secondhand serenade, brand new and slightly taking back sunday.
so in turn i dont think good charlotte are emo. more like pop-punk.

Yea I reckon they have turned emo. They are ok but there are heaps better bands out there!

I'd say so, compare not only their music but the music videos as well. Watch the first video they did and then look at something like "Hold On"

I've only heard a few songs from them, and I think they suck.
