The New Pokeman Theme Park. Just opened this year.
Otherwise, nothing fancy like Disneyland.

Yamay is the best one I have been to (its in Miaoli) Big scary rides mixed with child friendly goofy rides. There may be more selection up closer to Taipei.

Also attached is Mala Bay also often referred to as 'Malawan' --an outdoor waterpark. Its pretty good, worth a visit. But it tends to be overcrowded from July to the end of August which makes lining up a hot humid living hell... I recommend going there in May or early June before school gets out, or in September or October when school is back in.

Bai Sha Wan is another waterpark I think there is amusement parks attached.

Try googling any of the above names to get more info.
There are some older articles on that on http://www.taiwanfun.com

Just to let some people know, there isn't a Disneyland in Taiwan. The closest one to it would be the one in Hong Kong, the next, in Japan ;)
(If you really want to go to a Disneyland, I suggest the one in Japan, its really awesome apparently :D)

I don't know any good theme parks, since I've never lived in Taiwan for more than 4 years. I just wanted to put in my info back there at the top ^_^

Janfusun has more extreme thrill rides but Yamay has the rare "tilt" roller coaster .
Here is a list of all the theme parks around Taiwan for your reference:

I think "Jian Fu Shan" one not bad.. It only has 2-3 very interesting & fun roller coasters! I got scared to death lol.. Ha Ha.. If go in after 2pm or 3pm would be half price! usual price abt S$40!

"Liu Fu Chun" also not bad cos its just right beside "Window of China" & its more accessible than "Jian fu Shan"..

Taipei Zoo is also very nice - on par with the San Diego Zoo. It's the last station on the MRT line.
